We help local neighbourhoods and communities in Exeter to organise assemblies where people who live and work there can get to know each other, discuss the things that matter to them, and make plans together.

Thinking together
Share your views and listen to others. Get creative, find common ground and make plans to improve your neighbourhood. Or just have some good conversations!
Energise and empower local communities
Participating in assemblies helps you become part of a local community, which can be an antidote to powerlessness, individualism and isolation.
There is no us and them, there is only we.
Small group conversations can lead to common sense change that benefits everyone. We are making courageous, respectful dialogue the new normal in Exeter.
Involving all of us in local decisions
A functional democracy should have people's voices at it's heart. We think people need to have more of a say in the decisions which affect them.
When and where are these assemblies?
On the 2nd Sunday of every month there will be a Community Assembly in Exeter. Everyone is welcome!
